Can people post pics up of there motors with smoothed in sideskirts and rear bumpers etc. Thinking of going all smooth with the rear arches??

Check out that Boldy build/project thread... he smoothed in the rear, skirts and front bumper.... Looks the tits imo, but no margin for i guess, ie any movement and you might get cracking?

Yeah if i do it i will be using plastic filler thar will felx within reason with the body.

I cannot do my rear bumper that smooth because it has a big lip. but i think smooth with my new archs flushed will looks stunning :drool:

Afraid not, but it belonged to MickeyB and I took it at JAE05, there should be other pics of his car (it was quite well known) from around that era on here.

very lumpy?? hmm looks very well blended in to me no joins in the skirts whatsoever :xxx:

i thought it easier to post the whole album to get an idea of the skirts, if carmad wants i have loads of pictures of when i restored the zed and had the bodykit fitted, im sure the post was titled restoration zed when i put the pics up here a few years ago

yep just do a search ....... restoration zed...... username - fastredz and it will come up a few pics there of when i had the sills repaired and the sideskirts fitted
