To changing the rear inner rack end on the hicas? Mine just seems to turn and does not come out at all

Featured Replies

you need i think its a 36mm spanner on each end, if its just spinning, id becareful of undoing the track rod end on the other side lol. you have to massive locking nuts near the activator, if that makes sense, i had the same issue when undoing mine to change a hicas arm.

I think that makes sense. So is there a threaed bar so to speak connecting left and right inner ends?

one sec ive still got my hicas arm under the kitchen sink, ill get a photo of the bit im on about, but in the mean time, if you rotate one while looking at the other, you should see it turn.

Hicas arm, on the end is the big bolt that secures it to the actuator

there is a locking section as well (not in photo), but if you stick one spanner on this (the large big square bit) and one on the other side, they basically undo each other.
