After a 2+year make over, the zed is nearing completion!

I've had an engine stripped and rebuilt, replacing and uprgrading every little bit. The engine is finally finished and has been run - all looks good. Should be good for 500bhp

In the meantime, the zed is at the bodyshop. Its been stripped right back to the metal, rot removed and new panels installed. They have just sent a pic with the engine bay now painted in its nice new top secret colour.

And whilst this is all going on, my entire interior is away for a custom make over.

All going to plan, the zed should hit the road by June.

Sorry, i know i'll be asked for pics but i'm gonna wait until its finished

I cant wait!! :hyper:

Getting closer now. I realise this thread might be a bit dull with no pics but hey, i'm excited.

Interior is now finished - well nearly. I need to figure out something clever with the ashtray. My original intention was to trim the centre console in leather, but it wont work because of the ashtray. :(. Any ideas?

Following that, a few bits need to be sent down to Wicked Coatings. I've had a few sample pieces done, well impressed.

Car is back at the engine guys so work should start fairly soon dropping the engine in.

As for the body. I think i've finally made my mind up on the front bumper. What a hard decision thats been!

Still need to source a diffuser though

Shouldnt be long now- hopefully i can get some pics up soon

Are you going to post build pictures or only finished pictures? I love build threads.

I threw up a couple of pics on this thread... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?154626-Some-build-pics

Not a build thread.

I think when i get a spare 5mins i'll get subscribed and make a full on build thread
