They're just glass matey so any glass cleaner etc will do :)

Dazvert puts his in the dishwasher, but he's posh. lol

for best results, need to take apart carefully and clean the lense. makes a massive difference. if any of the adjuster cogs are knackered replace them with tamiya rc diff gears.

Just heat up the glass edge with a hairdryer and take your time.

LMAO!!!! Dazvert puts them in the dishwasher when shes not looking coz he gets *****cked when she finds out,lol

But yeh, I do, and as the lads say, remove the clips around the edges, heat the glue up, carefully prise the glass off, dishwasher/glass cleaner and clean inside especially the projector lense and stick back together, job done and a massive difference :)

and on the awkward screw, put a slot in it so you can undo it from the top ;)

When you put them back together can you heat the glue up again and use that or do you clean off all the old and replace with new? If so are you using silicon, hot glue gun or something like that?

The product you need in an ideal world is called Sika 11FC....

I only know because the company i work for supplies it to ALL the car mcfrs globally as its what they use to stick your windscreen / rear light in with...

Also if it was me. id use one of the anti fog / lens cleaners on the inside of the glass just incase.

cheers guys

thats all fantastic

iv got the silka stuff so ill just reseal them me thinks

If you have never had them apart before, you should find a few silica pellets floating about in the base of the headlight, these obviously aided the condensation issue. If they are knackered as mine were, put some silica packs in under the plastic bowl, will help prevent condensation in the future.
