Fitting coilovers

Did these today and noticed the track rod ends are toast..

Then got to the back.. why didnt somebody tell me all the trim had to come out to remove two bolts...!!:taz:

Ive left the trim off for now until I am happy with the damping setting.. not doing that again....

definitely looks better that little bit lower...

I've never removed track rod ends before, is it simple enough?

I've got a decent set coming off the shortie' if you want some freebies mate, I've got some SPL/Tein replacements to go back on, so the OEM ones are there if you want them bud

That would be great Pez as MOT coming up...

Dead easy to do.. I reckon no more than an hour to do both sides.. Unless like me you find a locking wheel nut on one wheel..

Had to call some friends from the Boro, didnt realise how easy they came off.. lol..

I like that.. is that an ebay job???

What should I search for? Ill get one before the trim goes back...

You can get an extention cable to allow you to adjust it with the trim back in place as per pic below mate

They were surprisingly simple to do Richard..

Getting the trim out of the boot without ever doing it before was frustrating to say the least..

1 bolt on the bottom and two on the top...
