hi all, trying to find an idiots guide as to what i need to remove in order to get at the Passenger side targa drain, where it goes through the body of the car in the footwell, so far i have removed the seat, plastic knee bolster and wooden ecu cover , oh and ive removed the fan motor, trouble is i cant yet see hide nor hair of the elusive bugger ,nor can i reach in to feel where it is , so what else do i need to remove / where is it hiding,

 

and yes i have tried searching for a decent tech thread but to no avail

I am sure Jeff did a left hand Drain tech, I will look further.

It's in the same place on the passenger side, the right up Jeff did will still work.

It is above the connectors yes, you just have to get on your back and stick your hand up there. It's a real PITA to do but it only took a few days before my hand was ok again after I did mine :)

I think you've already removed all you can mate, just have to get your hand in there and feel about. Removing the pass side a-pillar may help you locate the pipe easier but be careful not to pull it out. Your looking for a rubber cup like thingy on the inside wall of the wing. The pipe slots into this.

lol no mate, I just shoved my hand up there. Hurts a bit and I nearly broke my thumb. But I got there in the end..
