hmm, think its going to take me a while to get used to it but looking good so far, banner needs to be bigger me thinks, got such a large open area in the middle at the top now lol

 

We are missing a "my rides" button, and i can no longer seem to get to my rides from my UCP, is that something that needs fixing or am i just blind?

As far as the rides section goes we've unfortunately lost that for now.

 

Not to worry, as every subscribed member had two gallary's to upload rides to; which has been tested and working.

 

Only thing is you need to create the gallery and call it my rides.

 

I'll try get that automated eventually.

i think a few things need tweaking, we seem to be missing some of the functions of the last layout. nothing major but so far ive noticed.

 

When clicking New posts at the top left of the screen, there doesn't seem to be any separation between posts, from a moderators point of view when trying to see if someone has posted in the correct location, i find im double checking to make sure i haven't misread the line. Also the report post button no longer works for me, it takes me to the report post screen, i typed in my message but when i sent it, i received no email lol.

 

No rides section navigation point from either the post, or the UCP

No sales rep points shown by the posters name

 

dont worry i know its only just gone live, so there will be a few things to iron out. but so far im liking the look, even if a little brighter than the last one was.

lol im in bed now yer i know the feeling ive got 2 little ones aswell, mrs has got them tmrw goto do some dramatic changes at work while everyones off! Anyway works perfect on mobile and i think the new attachments is wicked, would be good if we could have the mobile addon one day! ,also i saw a thing on vnulletins webpage earleir where it intergrates with facebook to get more users to join etc looks good, guess the changes will take time and im sure the last forum took time to get what we had!

Just one thing that could potentially be serious, but hopefully easily fixed..... the new forum url is called 'forums', and the previous was 'forum', which means all the old search engine links and any bookmarked links will no longer work. I personally had 'new posts' bookmarked, as that's how I view the site, and that didnt work, I presume im not the only one so we could have lots of people trying to get to the site via their usual bookmark and thinking its down.

I think it looks great. Well done to Jaikai. YES there will be bits missing etc, but there are lots of tweaks and add ons to do over the next week or so. and yes the Committee also understand that certain members will just Not like it full stop. the old old forum was seriously out dated and in need of a fresh upgrade. and at the end of the day....You cant please everyone. :pinch:

Can't see that happening any time soon, rolling back vBulletin is a manual task that with a site of this size would take days, potentially even weeks, unless of course you forget all about all posts since the upgrade and just re-instate the site and database from immediately before the upgrade, which doesn't sound like a fun option either.

There's a dodgy colon (too much tandoori!) near the Join date section on the left. Not being negative - just pointing out a couple of tweaks that may need doing :)

I asume it has lost subscriptions to threads, as i,ve not had emails about replies to my posts, do i just need to go to each thread and post again
