I've always read that the TT pump is as good as the walbro so no point upgrading it. not sure how much truth there is in that statement though.

good point, not sure if they break down or lose their efficiency over time.... you'll not do any harm by replacing it for a new one

no just undo the 4 screws on the access panel in the spare wheel well, undo the sender unit and lift away

my mapper told me that the standard pump is BETTER than the walbro unit, a mate of mines running a big power evo with an in tank pump i think its aeromotive its around the £300 mark but its shit hot its about half the size of the walbro, whisper quiet and somehow manages to throw out something crazy like 350lph!!!

Have you looked into how much a new OEM pump is Mark?

A standard new fuel put from Nissan for the 300zx twin turbo is good for 750 BHP Mark so unless you have plans to go high this would be your best choice, But they are not as cheap as the one you are looking at but saying that you do get every thing needed

An easy way to find out is to just fit an inline fuel presure gauge, fairly easy job and a good bit of kit and it makes it easy to see how the pump is performing
