Thank you Richard, you have the honour of being the 1st. I will keep you all updated. We also found out today my mum's cancer diagnosis is wrong and is the stage before cancer and can be treated without chemo. A very bitter sweet day!

You're welcome mate - and I'm pleased to hear the good news about your mum.

I hope all works out well for you and your family Anthony; we're all right behind you mate!

Richard:cool3:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Hi Anthony, I've tried several times but it says my paypal account name or password is wrong... don't know what is going on there... I have funds in the account and I just logged in to paypal fine with the same details...

Please PM me your papypal id and I'll send you some money to donate...

cheers,

Gerry.

Dad is doing well although the hospital have just realised they haven't started certain medication and done renal test so have put back his release date. TBH honest we are a bit relieved as him going home 6 days after nearly dying was a bit scary and we'd prefer him in the best place for a few days longer!

Please don't forget to donate even if you can only manage a few pounds, it all helps.

Hey buddy, glad to hear the news about both your mum and dad. I give to the Air Ambulance on a regular basis. My cousin was the guy responsible for sending the Lancashire Air Ambulance out to jobs, he has retired from the Ambulance Service now.

I would just like to say though, don't forget the "on the road paramedics" who do this sort of thing day in day out, but don't really get enough recognition for it.

I totally agree about onroad and the doctors, I owe them a lot as well! I've blabbed more about the air guys purely as they get no government funding which is unbelievable, they rely solely on donations keep this vital service flying.

All done, thank you, wasn't expecting that! Really does make a difference.

Yeah, it's a crime that the air ambulance has to rely on the generosity of the public, if ever there was a need for government funding, that is it. I have air ambulance Tee-shirts and all sorts of other bits and pieces. I wish I had had the opertunity to work on the helicopter before I had to retire from the service.
