Just lost my Betta fish (Siamese fighter) 'Frank ':crying: He was a gift last year and I kept him in a little 9litre tank. I received a bigger tank today 30litre cube type tank and 'Frank' was going to move into this :crying:

I am now unsure what to put in the new tank. Should I get another Betta fish (as frank was a character) or should I get a few other types of fish. Any suggestions appreciated.

try new era flakes if he is a confident feeder you will get far more weighjt on fish with high quality fklake than with frozen it is also less polluting

Don't feed Edwyn the starfish anything in particular. He just bimbles around the bottom hoovering. Must be doing ok though cos he was about the 1st thing in there!

I do also use marine flake food, aquarian ones, and sea veg for the crabs. Will have a look for new era tho if they are better?

Yeah aquarian is full of ash which is a phosphate holder. I was involved with new eras test programme its awesome stuff serious difference bulk wise

z32bolt: lovely arrow you've got there mate, don't you have trouble with it jumping? I always wanted a Red Tail cat but as you know they'll quickly outgrow any home aquarium :(

Thats unfortunatly how it made its end. I will be javing another one day in a tropical pond. And im gonna start a coral farm time money and space are in yhe way. Ive got rid of all of yhose tanks except the reef tank. Couldnt part with that.
