Suspected fuel cut

Just bought my z32tt manual, I did so knowing that the engine missed/spluttered occasionally at low rev range when holding a certain speed. On my journey home I noticed that if I went upto 4500 revs I got what I suspect is fuel cut, can anybody give me any advice on how to go about solving this issue??????

I would change the MAF, more likely wouldnt rev past 3500 and clean the connectors on the IAC valve at the rear of the plenum by the battery and check for corrosion on the temp sensor on the front top hard pipe from the rad.

are you getting sudden loss of power if so you probably have a boost leak somewhere. Otherwise as groover said air flow meter

Didnt think there was a fuel cut built into the factory ecu on these cars .

You haven't said whether it's JDM or Uk, auto or manual

It could be a JDM limiter cutting in if your speedo is still reading KPH or the MAF as above if it's in MPH and UK or delimited JDM

id go for a maf problem try disconnecting it. i can always pop round have a quick listen and point at stuff for you.
