ok its decission time ive got my uk auto tt and i love it but ever since i was about 12 ive wanted an r33 gtr but now theres a problem i cant decide wether to keep the zed and modify it to around the 400 mark or sell up and buy a gtr.

 

personaly a cant stand the gtrs interior and i love the zed's one its a million times better in every way

 

power wise i know the gtrs easyer to tune to high power but a 400hp wouldnt exactly be a slouch

 

gtr has the obv benefit of awd so its gonna be a more stable car im not planning on doing any track days in either car but awd would be nice on wet roads etc

 

finaly i do tend to go on long mway drives as my mums in cornwall and my bro lives in huddersfield and as ive never done one in a gtr i dont know for sure but id guess the zed would be more comfey

 

i rekon to get the zed to 400hp id need the manual conversion, injectors, a good map, and maybe stronger turbo internals and a few other bits and bobs plus by the time jeffs fixed other things that no doubt will turn up i rekon itll cost about 3k so it would be cheaper than a gtr

 

any thoughts or advise would be great and i know its a bit foolish posting this on a zed forum but im pretty sire u guys can be fairly unbiased!!! lol

comfy..better looking..n most of all rarer..

iv had mine 2.5 years now and the only major headach was what i thought was leaky targas n heater matrix turnd out to be styipid drain tubes...

dont know much about getting to 400 but lets face it the way road works n traffic is nowadays standard is more than enough

yea already seen it ive been browsing the gtroc looking around and found your ad, im gonna have a word with my ins company today and see how much shed cost me being 25 with 1yncb i doubt it will be cheap but im hoping its not hugely more than the zed and ill let you know

jesus christ thats cheap!!!! its an extra 700 on top of the zed with admiral and thats just to top up the last 5 months of my policy!!! ill have a little think about it matey tbh the ins is about what i was expecting is there any other rust on the car appart from the turret?
