Hi all

 

Firstly its good to see the North Wales section has had some good meets so far, even though members are a bit sporadic in the area i feel the ones within a certain radius have pulled together which is good to see!. Rob as the Reo and others have shown i feel what can be done even with just a few people and some planning lol

 

However Rob had contacted me a short while ago advising he would have to place his commitments to an extent elsewhere for the time being and that instead of stepping down from the role if some help could be drafted!!. After it being discussed at the North Wales meets and through committee after the initial pm from Rob, its has been decided to look more at a perm joint position for as long as required to assist Rob

 

Therefore Keith KJZ32 has been granted the role as he and Rob have shown an interest in liaising with each other to better organise local meets and prep for other meets outside the area, as Keith has already helped organise local meets within the area even giving up his home for the eve to host the meet it seemed more than a logical choice and im sure it will benefit the area having the joint role and we hope will resort in more members attending.

 

so please join me in welcoming Keith to the position :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks guys, happy to help out and take some strain off Rob for now.

 

The next meet is on Friday 3rd Feb, at present ,at the same place as usual, but, it has been put forward that we could change the venue to different areas to hopefully accomadate other members who wish to meet up, but find it difficult with travel/work/times.

 

We will probably discuss this at the next meet, but the idea is to have ones nearer the likes of Wrexham/Oswestry/Chester/Wirral etc changing area each month.

 

Suggestions from members who live in the areas would be welcome as to a possible meeting place for the area picked/agreed on.
