Web design and hosting

Hi,

 

Can anyone help me on this. A close friend needs a website designed and hosted. He's using Vistaprint for cards and paperwork and they have offered him a years subscription for web (no idea on price).

 

Should he use Vistaprint or is this something anyone does on here?

 

How would he make sure he keeps his website and email address if he changed hosting company?

    vistaprint suck in everyway regarding cards and printed stuff...they offer really low prices but the last batch of cards i got i thought ide orded 5000 rizla ciggy papers by mistake and the colour quality looked like watered down crickets piss:angry:..How they shape up with a website i dread to think:thumbdown:
