I'm currently with enom.com but I can't renew it at the moment because they've resold it to secureserver.net! :censored:

I'm sick of this trouble, it seems to happen every renewal time. Is there a decent provider that actually keeps the domain name with themselves rather than sell it on?

cheers

Thanks for the info, my site is hosted on webs.com but they've gone and sold my domain name registration to another company. I'll give fasthosts a go. I can't unlock my domain name from secureservers.net so I think i'm going to have to wait until the name becomes available again and grab it then.

it's bloody annoying I know that. lol

vidahosts for myself, ive over 5 personal sites with them and over 100 business sites.

support is top notch.

I'm with Vidahosts as well, great company and very reasonable on prices.

I've got 12 domains with namesco on a multi-host package... their tech support is brilliant, there's been no down time for the sites and just a couple of blips with email in about 5 years...

I've also got a personal site on Freeola - never needed support, but they're not that cheap by the time you've added on extras.

im with 1-2-3 Reg after personal recommendation from my father who has snugmattress.co.uk with them for the last 8 - 10 years, mine too also seems ok at the moment

I've been using http://www.ARHoster.com since 2005 and never had an issue, i've emailed them at 2am on a sunday night to restore a data table and they've fixed it within 10 minutes(!)

In terms of their customer service they've always been top notch! :)
