Somebody once told me how - but i've forgotten.

The idle on tickover gurgle & the goose honk on full boost, - i've drained the system (wiped the pipe off & let the condensation out) a couple of times now.

But one of you lot said at a meet 'bung a hole in the plastic box mate, sorted'.

Ok fair enough as it needs draining again.

Where should the hole be? how big? & whats inside the box anyway?

cheers, harve.

Simply drill a small hole at the lowest point where condensing water will collect so as to let it drip out. Bottom of the black plastic cover is the place I think. There's a how to on TT.net.

5 mm hole should be fine. Inside is an air filter basically.

The goose honk is nothing to do with the AIvs tho. Thats the recirculating valves - different things.

cheers guys smile.gif
