I would say if you are going drifting then use it if just for everyday use ,I wouldnt

The NA's have an R200 diff, same as the 200sx's, you may find someone that wants to do a swap with you? saves messing about with yours.

Depends how you drive, few if my skid cars had welders and it's fun, parking can suck and you can get annoyed by it! I grew up and now when I have a skid car I use a 2 way.
