What's a UK manual 300ZX Twin turbo worth??

As some of you know I'm restoring a UK 300zx to original, the car has 45k on it with a full Nissan service history and all paper work to back this up, the cars never been crashed or abused as I know all the previous owners

As well.

The only none standard parts are the exhausts which is a full stainless system I also have the original system.

What's the car worth to sell full done with a pro paint job as well to the standard black it came out of the showroom with?

The reason I ask this is not to sell but how much to spend on paint and prep, I have a decision to make!!!

Thanks,

Daz.

Daz?

Rememeber thats an unrestored car by the looks of it,so even if yours is lower mileage the fact that its not been restored adds value, well worth it imho and im sure yours will be worth a few bob too when done.Get some pics up when shes done.UK zeds are far rarer now than many Jap models so well sought after in the right condition.

Uk manual tt with a respray virtually standard still wouldn't pay more than a grand

So your saying it's worth more broken in to parts then???

So what does that make a cheaply moded jap import worth on the current market???

What value would you put on yours for instance???

Mines 5k agreed value on the insurance.

Zeds are always worth more in parts. UK specs equal rust in my eyes even ones that look good from the outside underneath and where you can't see will he full of rust or filler.

Your welcome to come and search my UK for rust but you would be wasting your time as it doesn't have any.

Assuming that all UK's are rust buckets is a bit blinkered, the majority of import's have been in the country long enough to have suffered from rust as well.

After speaking to a lot of people on here I would agree with you on the UK rust problem, there's also a massive problem with the design of the car with the drains from the roof.

The reason for the paint job on mine is the underneath is the best bit, because the car was covered and stood on ramps also on a slight hill all the water seems to of run off, with there being no road use underside has stayed protected and dry.

Going to paint and drive and go from there.

I haven't got the time to come and check and have no need to. If you have cut the sills open to have a look then yes there will be no rust however to buy a UK spec just runs a far greater risk of there being unseen rust and maybe on some imports depending on how long they have been over here. I think mine was imported about 4 years ago so im happy.
