someone on another thread put up a site in japan, that has the beets abflug kit ive dreamed of, changed the currency to GBP and its coming in at just shy of 3k, ok add on import tax and fitting and spraying probably looking at around 5k - 6k in total.

Just wonder how much modifications to the original body work would be required to get it on the car. as mine needs the drivers sill welding before the next MOT, was wondering if it might be an idea to get that done, while i save for the kit and get that put on once all repair work has been done. that way i can get the spray job done at the same time as fitting, would just mean id have to drive around with a half complete car for a bit, but should be able to get it on the car by end of next year and ive always wanted that kit since i seen it. would go well with the abflug type 4 front bumper and at least id have a full abflug kit as well then.

Does that kit include a new nose panel? If so, I know a guy that has the same colour car as you and would be very interested in your current one.....

nope, kit consists of front wings that widen the front by 20mm, front wing fin, door fillers top and bottom, rear arches with fuel filler extension, side skirts.

does not contain front bumper or rear bumper as abflug believed that people would like to chose those components them selves to finish the kit off how they wanted.

Depends on where you go but I'd reckon at least 4k for fitting and spraying from a proven body shop comfortable with doing modifications

It will be 4.5k ish to get it to your door. 4k plus for a bodyshop that is capable of fitting and spraying it good luck with it

once its here, there will be no rush to get it on, so will take my time and get the molar together while hunting for a decent body shop, though i think i already have one that will do it, but need to ring up and check, if not got a few companies local that will.

my main concern would be getting the existing body sorted out first before sticking a large kit over the top of it.

Funny thing is Baz if one kit could pull off your spoiler it would be this one :)

i do indeed, and it doesnt look like every other wide arch kit out there, in fact it doesnt really give much of a wide arse as the others do and widens the whole car rather than just the rears.

By far the best wide arch out there for the zed, no doubt about it. The blue one is ott

The the red one is just pure class.

Looks like a proper super car. I would have it if i could :cool3:

I'm liking the door strakes/ducts but not what's happening on the lower door/cill.

Hey,each to their own!

you mean the cerve on the bottom sill? Needs to be straight but thats an easy fix :)

Yeah, looks a bit weird, would be better continuing thr duct curve round and straight.IMHO.:detective:

think it would look better in the flesh, the camera squashes it up and makes it look arched to much.

its a door filler, you could possibly leave it out and make the rear vent on the arch curve down more to flow with the original door. hmmmm.
