Silly Newbie Question

Guys, I think I may have found my new Z. It is a non import non turbo. As far as I can tell everthing is stock. How much work would I be looking at to get it turbo'd up?? Is this going to be too much hassle, should I just buy one that already has turbo's in it? Apologies if this is in the wrong forum.

i have heard its a hard job...its a lot cheaper to just find a nice TT than to payout and get that work done. just my 2p worth.

A popular question ! LOL

There is a ton of work to do, best place to look is on www.twinturbo.net in the technical forum. Someone has recently posted the most comprehensive FAQ ever on this subject.

Errrh - are you sure it is a non import non turbo? AFAIK, the only official UK car was the TT 2+2.

What is the chassis number?

Yep, Gio is right, the N/A was never sold as a UK car. As far as I know ALL N/A's are Jap imports. I would seriously question the seller about the origin of the car. However, the N/A is a great car regardless of where it came from and the insurance will be a lot cheaper than for TT's. As for converting it to TT, don't bother. There is so much difference between the two and so much to change that in the end it will be a lot cheaper to purchase a TT.
