The Z and the 200 have been sat for 6 weeks now without being touched  and with the crap weather and lack of time I'm really struggling to get back to them. I've haven't even been on here for nearly 2 weeks!!

Any ideas on some motivation as I don't want to end up posting a 'thinking of selling post'!! :death:

You cant sell them dude, you need to finish them!

Post some pictures..

Ps, did you get my text about the hoses for the GTR?

i go through spells like this all the time, then it comes to the nice weather and i take it out then all is forgotten again. take it out on the first half decent day for a nice drive and you will love it again

I did mate sorry, had so much going on personal I didn't reply, same as with the cars, just struggling. Have a look our site and see what takes your fancy as there's quite a few kits.

I want the whole cars worth mate! But cant afford it all yet.

If I got my arse into gear and 'eventually' got round to dropping that prop down to you on Saturday, would that give a bit of motivation bud?

nothing like a bit of old prop fitting to cheer you up in the winter months....

Problem is mate you have taken one to many projects. your best just sticking with the one and getting it finished. Do the one that needs the least work 1st and get back on the road

I'd do the 200 first if im honest. That car will be different and will get the most attention.

read what I've been through with my zed then just think like i do, that even if you spend a little time here and there, eventually they will come together. you don't have to take much time, just a few hours, or even an hour here and there getting bits sorted, you will be surprised how quick they come together.

Stop playing with your model trains and play with your big toys .. lol

m8 i know how you feel my car is in all loads of bits

and this weather is Shite to say the least

i'v just ordered my self a 6m pop up car port to work under it ..

as i just had a luck escape from the wind last nite as it blow over my 3m gazebo and just scuffed my rear wing .. totally missed both sides of my car

Sir Charles and I were talking about you earlier! We wondered where you'd got to? Hope you had a good crimbo and Happy New Year mate :)

Stick with it Ant, look at your last project it was awesome (501 bhp!) Sit down and draw up a list of what needs doing and in what order and try and add a timescale to each bit your doing that will hopefully give you some get up and go to get things done, even if it's over a long period. As the lads said, sort the 200 1st, and give my bro a ring to give you a hand!

That would seriously piss me off

If I'm honest some of you know the health problem I've got and dealing with those is tough and we were messed around while selling the wife's car and our other property and finally 2 months later both sold the last one went 2 days before Christmas. Paid off loans and Had a break over Christmas, finally all going well, picked up wife's replacement car today, all good.

That's the plan, if I can motivate myself it will keep my mind busy and help things.

yeah, sorry to hear your bad news.... particularly with the other issues....

I always get a bit down with the car at this time of year... I also don't have anywhere undercover to work on it and even if I do get some sort of rain shelter its still too F'n cold to piss around in bad light with cold car parts... LOL...

I do stuff if I have to but I can't say i enjoy it lad as much as in summer...

However winter is a good time to work out what needs doing, what is possible, what order to do it and find the best price for it....

i think I'm going to wash her this weekend (don't blame me if it rains) and that might make me feel a little better about her.... I think I can handle a bit of detailing... LOL...

all the best...

now is a good time of year to start loooking at arranging events , gives a good few months to sort stuffout , call round venues , other car clubs etc and as said focus on one project car , detail out a plan with time frames that are achievable and lealistic and try and stick to it ....time managment is what its all about with these things, dont lose heart there are people on this forum who will always encourage and help out when least expected ... there is light at the end of the tunnel its the length of tunnels that varies....sorry to hear about your mam M8

kazasteve

Really sorry to hear about your mum mate :( I'm feeling the same about my zed at the moment. I just keep thinking about summer and finally getting it on the road. Keeps me going..
