Hi Guys,

Om my 300zx TT Jap Import.

I have 3 buttons. For the Auto gearbox

1. Is an over ride - Do you ride with this off or on? If I remember correctly if off the light comes on the dash. Does that save fuel?

2 I have Power/hold button. So you can click it to Hold or Power or Central for off. Any ideas.

3 I then have one other button near the gearbox, No details on this - Its to the right of the gear stick and has a light on it - when pressed on ... No idea what it does and as far as I am aware is Off.

On average about 200 miles to a tank is this about right? am not moaning about fuel consumption but would like to see if I should be getting more. I have to fill up regularly.

Cheers

My jdm tt is an auto and I leave the overdrive on

The power/hold button will hold the selected gear without changing (holds in 1st or 2nd for driving in snow, mud etc) and the power position allows you to go to the redline before the box changes up

Dont know what the other button is for as mine hasnt got that one

Hope this helps :)

as above really, and it all depends on what sort of driving your doing witha light foot and halthy engine cruising at motorway speeds 300 miles to a tank is about right. in reality most of us get less, i get about 20 mpg as an average figure but it can be way less. the best ive ever had was just under 30 mpg. i try to get min eto have an annual health check to keep her running sweet. its cheaper in the long run.
