I've been thinking about buying a new Android device, now I can't make my mind up which to buy. I think it's a choice between the Galaxy S II, the Sony Xperia and the Galaxy Note, what do you all think?

 

Please note, whilst I haven't specified this in my description, I do not under any circumstances want anyone to slate Android or recommend anything from Apple, my mind is completely closed to all alternatives to Android, because I may never have heard of them, if you don't mention them, even if you have extensive knowledge of mobile technology, operating systems or computing in general, I'll continue to be oblivious and I like it that way. You don't know this, as I haven't said this in my description of what I actually want, but the mods will come down hard on anyone who breaches this.

Totally agree Alex.... Android is an open system protocol OS and as such, is preferable to any proprietary OS Just look at Microsoft !

 

If it is a serious question, the I would seriously consider the Note.... just about NOT too big for a phone but makes web browsing far easier than on another inch or two smaller screen

lol to be fair, if I was looking for a new phone (Not until June) then I'll be researching what's out there and picking the best device available at the time. Rose will be getting a Galaxy Note very soon, as she really needs a phone as opposed to the Galaxy Tab she's been using. Whilst it works fine, she needs something a little more discrete, something she can put to her ear and not be at the mercy of a bluetooth headset, etc.

 

I love my Galaxy S and would like a Galaxy S II to be perfectly honest, but I'm going to wait until June and see what's out then. I would buy an iPhone, IF it didn't need to be jailbroken to be of any use, IF it had apps written in something other than object oriented C and IF it was actually any good in comparison to a billion and one other devices I can get on a better tarrif, with better reception and battery life, with more integration features, etc. etc. etc.

Nothing beats a 3210 for battery life. Fact. I'm sure they must have some kind of in built power station the amount of time they ran for!

I think the only differences were the colour of the standard cover ( I upgraded to cream and blue) and possibly a different version of snake?

 

My favourite ever has to be my 7110 I had. Nobody can deny the feeling of clicking the button to have the "tshum" and the cover fly down as well as feeling your in the matrix :)

Galaxy SII here ... i binned the iphone 4s ( not literally) .. apps are good but shite for making a call .. due to my job, i work in some remote places .. the iphone hardly ever had a signal .. no probs with the galaxy .. same network too .. so it cant be the network
