prop difference

does anyone know what the difference is between a manual propshaft and a auto prop is it splines on the front or length etc i need to find a manual prop but cant tell the difference when their loose and not on a car

any help would be much appreiciated

    From what I know the auto propshaft is shorter than the manual one.

    There are also 2 different prop lengths for the autos. There being 2 different auto box's. Not sure what the difference in application for the 2 box's is though (N/A vs. Turbo? Age?)
