Stumbled across this guys site this afternoon, I was mainly interested in the explanation of the Z ignition system and how it works, aswell as things to check for when your idle is arse etc.

 

I would say that this is a good site for people who are looking to buy and for those of us who aren't as technically knowledgeable about the 300.

I'm still on the lookout for a Z and this site is great reading... A large pint of Kudos in yer general direction for posting it:)

BTW, many moons ago when I was young and strange, I owned many many fine Volkwagen Beetles and loved the camaraderie with other Dub owners - ALWAYS flashed the lights and ALWAYS had other VeeDubbers stop if (when) I broke down on the side of the road.

I have continued this tradition in your honour.. by flashing my lights at other Z owners as I pass them on the Highways and Byways...

Trouble is I'm still pootling about in a 309GTI and they think I'm weird;-)

Still I've now got six grand burning a hole in my pocket and somewhere there is a Z with my name on it:-)!
