Can you believe my wheel on the drivers side has started to sqeek(sounds like a rattling metal chain)anybody any ideas,its not the brakes as the pads are about half worn.

let me know when you find it, mines doing the same on NSR!!

 

stripped rear brake pads & discs, cleaned & greased, reassembled, still the same!!

mine might be a sticking caliper(ive had some probs with it)

Rob B had this problem a while back...

 

A new wheel bearing, abs sensor and other bits later he found out it was the tyre!!! I think the banding had gone inside but the tyre showed no kind of bulging - answer is to swap the wheel with a known good one

brand new 3 weeks ago.

my pads are ok on the outside but worn on the inside

thats my problem!
