I have just spent best part of an hour change my ride so that its all up todate to only find that it will not save. Can you please explain why and also tell me what I need to do so that I can edit my ride please :cursing:

Just edited mine and it worked ok. Changed the text and then hit the "Finished" button - all ok.

Hi Andy glad to know you can but again after seeing your post I have tried to edit mine and click finished and every time I do it just goes back to the old spec. So unless I have an old programe or some thing silly like that I am well :cursing: Any chance you can get intouch and help me resolve this issue mate please because I feel like im at the end of my rope :hang:lol

I may have an unfair advantage, what with being a forum Admin etc ! I'll have a look at the permissions in more detail and see if I can see any reason why it wouldn't work for you.

Just to let you know - tried editing mine & it works fine!

 

Ceejay - have you tried creating a new ride?? You could create a new one & delete the old one. Just a thought :)

Just created a new rides section with my test account (this one) and it worked fine. So can only suggest two things, firstly, clear all the 300zx.co.uk cookies on your browser and secondly create a new ride section.

you could just copy & paste from you old ride first :)

:cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing:Im giving up I have tried what you have said deleted old cookies and re done a new ride entry and guess what when I clicked on finish it cleared all my text and left a blank ride LOL so I guess the old spec will stay as i now have an headach. It must be me

I didnt give in I kept trying and I have nearly done it but what a pain in the ass. There really must be an easier way to edit a ride. I will try again later to complete the updates as I have already swar enough for one night lol
