Hi All,

With a white flash and a bang Markie has had another idea!!!

Would it be possible to take two stock engine oil coolers and run them in tandem?

What do ya reckon guys?

C'mon you mighty Z brains give it your best shot, give it to me straight!!!!

All the best,

Mark

Mark, the oilcooling-system on the Zed is basically a joke...have you ever felt the cooler after thrashing the car ?

You're lucky if it is even gets slightly warm ..

even if you'd fit a cooler of a truck it wouldn't really help.

This because the oilcooler is pressure operated and the cooler is bypassed if the oilpressure is below a certain level (eg. during idle/low revs/low pressure in general)

It would probably be much better to make it temperature operated (like most normal oilcooler-systems)

Thanks Eric,

I presume it would be too complicated to make the oil cooler temp operated?

What do you think of electrical fans to replace the mechanical one, I haven't really seen anything positive to say about them?

Mark

I don't think any of the fans blow on the oil cooler, that relies on the draft from the movement of the car.

You mean electric fan(s) for the radiator ?
