New pads for NA zed

Do i need to get new brake pads from Nissan or does anyone know of another source i.e. cheaper/quicker.

Uprated pads would be prefered, but i understand from Demon Tweeks that EBG do not do any for NA Z.

...the NA pads are the same as TT pads - and EBC do them - they are terriffic (on my NA) compared with the Nissan pads. Try JRT Automotive 01494 792211 - he charged me about £64 for a front set (4).

good luck

EBC Greenstuff's take a while to heat up but are then good but they do wear out considerably faster than std nissan pads. Std pads have good life but on track days produce fade on heavy use. Paul at Whifbitz can get R4S fast road front pads for £68.27 or R4 race front pads for £95.86. Dependant on your driving style.

R4S Fast road front pads £68.27

R4S Fast road rear pads £54.48

R4 Race front pads £95.86

R4 Race rear pads £74.65

I have just ordered Front turbo grooved disks and red stuff pads from JRT Automotive for £207 including VAT + £7 for carriage.

He recommended redstuff rather than green stuff pads.

Sounds very cheap to me. I'll let you know how they work.

I had fun and games trying to get ordinary replacement disks for my NA and JRT Automotive were very good and cheap. The na disks are thinner by 5mm, same diameter, but with a different amount of 'dish' to the TT, consequently the calipers on a na are narrower and sit different to a TT. JRT even has EBC mill some for me, but these didn't fit so finished up with some brought in from Japan - and supplied in EBC boxes - all at pretty much the price he first quoted me which was about £50 per disk...
