I have changed the switch but the same intermittant fault remains. Sometimes it works and other times,NoT.

have you changed the window regulator? black box on the drivers side door, about half way down bolted too it.

I had this with mine.Take it off, open it up and check for poor connections on the circuit board.theres a guide on here that jeff posted, I did mine a few weeks back.re-soldered two connections, put it back together and re-fit and it now works perfectly :)
