HEADLIGHT MEASUREMENT REQUIRED

I am still looking into a HID setup for the 300ZX, and the only item left is to know how much space between the Bulb base, and the lens is available, as the HID bulbs are nuch longer.

Can someone please make this measurement as my Zed has now gone. But will be replaced soon.

Leigh.

...7.5 cms. I removed one of your 85w bulbs and placed a biro in the square hole untill it touched the back of the lens. Noted the position of the square hole face that the normal bulb sits on and on withdrawing the biro, measured 7 to 7.5cms.

...hope this helps..

Leigh - if you need to double check anything, feel free to come and have a look. I'm about for the weekend (except Monday). Cheers - Gio

Hi Trey,

I am waiting for the guy in USA to confirm there is enough space for the HID bulbs.
