I simply couldn't do it personally, i'd be putting on snow chains before that would happen.

Like you're EVER going to see Snow, you're in ****ing northland! Although I did see something on youtube the other day about snow in Auckland, which is just plain ****ing weird!

Indeed. And I mean that, good luck mate.

Maybe you should send the wasp shell to them!!! if the scrappy hasnt ditched it yet.

Nah I reckon the wasp is kinda cube shaped by now, although we haven't had the certificate of destruction yet.

Might be worth it if they want it i mean it was a tidy shell?

Nah, rusty as feck, one of the main reasons we scrapped it.

Sigh...

I seriously think the orgional poster needs another shell, that is proper rooted, a shame to have to repaint the top, maybe if they get another shell that can donate its floor?

lol, to be fair I said much the same, but if you read through the other thread, he has some good grounding for saving it. You should see some of the older Z stories on one of the other z related clubs, especially the french one, bloody hell cars rot in france!!!! There's one thread where a guy is literally re-farbicating an S30 240Z shell, panel by panel, awesome thread to watch.

rusty as heck, this is exactly why you shouldn't drive a car you care about on roads that are dosed with salt.

I won't really know what I'm doing until next year. If I can weld it then I will, the rest of the body seems fine, but if I find its impossible then I guess I can break, or transplant. I have nothing to lose really, there is no way she's going through an MOT (and also unsafe) in her current condition.

As for the snow, my Zed was off the road last year during most of the bad snow, the clutch cylinder went and I couldnt get the damn thing off.... I borrowed my dads MX6 through most of the winter and had serious problems at work (they don't plough or grit the car park!!) and so found myself digging myself out most days and just making it out at that, normally with a push. Many had to abandon their cars, I can't imagine how RWD would have been in all that, I really don't think I would have made it, probably would have had to get a bus home and leave my baby!

Seems I do have a Legnum! lol

A google image such revealed some real nice ones too...shame mines only the 2.0 litre...(and has tiny laughable 14" wheels which have no grip) :)

We had a VR4 version of both the Legnum and the Galant whilst in NZ, awesome cars.

awesome cars should only be put after talking about the M division of BMW. now those are awesome cars.

Nah they're good cars, not awesome. There's bugger all thrilling about an M3, it's just refined, luxury speed. Granted some of the M5s are close to pretty awesome, but because of the size/weight/power, you can't REALLY get anything "Awesome" out of them on the road. :( And before anyone says it, I love BMWs, I've had 2 525s, 2 325s, 1 323 and always wanted an M3 Evo Convertible.
