The TT has a vacuum assisted clutch booster to make the pedal lighter as the TT clutch is heavier on the foot, up to if you fit it really, lots of people don't when doing a manual conversion on a TT, I did, and my clutch is heavy enough to annoy me without the engine running, but with the engine running and the booster working, it is very comfortable... Might as well fit it if you've got it I say, but it's up to you mate...

Sorry, just re-read, if your fitting an NA clutch to an NA, then they didn't have them anyway so it'll just feel like stock (if your using a stock clutch that is) but if you are fitting an uprated, heavier clutch, it might be worth fitting.

the TT clutch pedal is power assisted, the NA clutch is not, the pipe is the vacuum line to the clutch booster.

without power asist the tt clutch is much heavier than a NA clutch

i'm fairly sure the TT master cylinder is different to the NA,

thanks guys for info. So you are recommending me to use TT clutch meister cylinder. thats what I been afraid for, NA clutch can feels to heavy with TT engine and clutch in. Well lot of work to do but is should be worth it. thanks again.

I've got a exedy twin plate tt clutch on my na with a single braided hose no other upgrades and no problems changing gear. pedal isn't heavy or stiff before people start suggesting that. Gearbox has been modified to fit the exedy flywheel. This first hand knowledge not just what everyone has heard or assume

I dont know now what to believe :D I dont want my clutch to be heavy but if is unnecessary dotn want to spend to to fitting that clutch. :( what to do ?:(

if you take a complete TT system and remove the power assist it is heavy

but not unusable, i drove mine for a year without. it was only in traffic when i was using it a lot that i found it uncumfortable and due to a previous knee injury painful

As I said all I have is exedy tt clutch and flywheel and the rest is na completly driveable for me through traffic and everything. Believe what you will decide what you will only trying to help with first hand knowledge

if your saying you have a NA clutch pedal connected to a TT clutch, then this will be lighter than a TT clutch pedal with power assist removed.

the shape of the 2 pedals mechanisms is different such that the leverage provided makes the TT pedal harder to push than the NA

if thats not what your saying, sorry, i'll get my coat

well yeah I was asking what happens if I will use NA clutch pedal on TT clutch and flywheels. So you saying that NA clutch pedal on TT clutch disk will work lighter ?I dont understand sorry mate.

Exactly what I have done and what I thought you meant and mine has no problem allthough it is an exedy twin plate so not a cheap clutch but I guess it depends on what clutch you use also I uprated the pivot ball and gearbox mount
