You'll struggle with that because of the import laws in NZ, Z32's don't comply with frontal impact standards.

Wasn't too bad when the standards you had to meet in NZ were the Japanese 1996 ones, you could modify the car to comply and re-register it at your own cost (A feckin fortune), now though, they have to meet the 2003 standards, which include a higher belt line and air bags everywhere and all sorts of other crap to do with side impact as well as front impact standards.

I'm not sure what the law is on it being a classic in NZ currently, but 2 years ago when I was still there, it was 30 years, so if the car wasn't 30 years old or more, it had to comply.

I know all this because I wanted to originally import my GTR to NZ when I first moved there and couldn't because it was an R32 and not an R33, which would have complied with the 1996 standards. I then looked while I was there at importing an R33 GTR instead, but couldn't, because it didn't meet the 2003 standards which NZ had changed to for the requirements :(

You can import an older vehicle over 20 years old without it being a special interest vehicle, so anything over 20 years old i wont have a problem with. :cool3:

Could be ok then, provided you get hold of a 91 or next year 92 car.
