there you go :blushing:

When you accelerate and then let off boost, does it go:

a) PTCHHHHHHH!

or

b) HOOOOOOOONK wibble

If the a) then they're the standard re-circs and you've got dump valves fitted, if b) then they're probably to replace your fubar'd goose-honking recircs, if neither, then they are probably the fubar'd recircs and the ones fitted were the replacements :D

why would they be in my boot does that meen it dosnt have standard ones now what do they do and where would i find them apart from my boot lol

cant remember havnt actually drove it yet my mate drove it home and i cant drive it till tomorrow insurance

under the front nose panel mate, theyre quite hiden if u dont know where your looking tho, if you take ur nose panel off, the bit with the Z badge between the headlights. the u shud see ur MAF, and ur air filter, there will be one recirc valve on the left , and one on the right. if there shiny theyr prob aftermarket ones

I bet he'd have put it in the advert when you bought it if it have uprated dump valves....

where do i get some as i want to go PUUUUUUTTTTSSSSSCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHh lol

oh no, here come all the comments about scanias and how they can cause bore wash and blah blah blah. Ignore it all, if you like the sound, get some, they won't actually hurt your engine, yes they can cause some slight hesitation, but you can map that out easily enough. Any dump valve will work with it, but you need to blank off certain pipes that the recircs use and the dump valves don't, etc. etc.

what are scanias? i had some baileys on my last tt. bit boring but they did the job. i like the sound of the pshhh then the flutter, even though its bad for the tubs:(

Trucks!

lol yea i know that, ive sprayed enuff of em lol. i mean in reference to dump valves, did he mean just some BOV's from a scania? lol

No people say they make it sound like a scania, as in makes it sound like a truck, air brakes! :D

Doesn't sound anything much like a scania at all, it sounds awesome, get some dump valves on there!
