Nasty Noise

If I open the throttle eith slowly or rapidly to increase thr rpm to about 2000 from idle there is always am initial sound like very rapid sparking from somewhere under the bonnet. Never appears at any other time.

 

Panic. What is it. She accelerates like a pile of crap at the moment
