WIPER INTERVAL TIMER

Has anyone ever fixed the wiper interval timer (UK Spec car). Mine just won't play and I'm reluctant to open it up in case the bits fly everywhere!

Any constructive advice gratefully received!!

    On a more serious note I expect you'll find a little potentiometer in there which needs cleaning or worst case replacing. Have you tried borrowing the switch gear from someone elses to verify which bit has packed up ?
