So I know they're Lenso's, but I don't know which model they are. Anyone got a clue? Before anyone says it, yes they are in desperate need of a refurb, Rose will be doing that when we find some spares.

aww ... ROLLOCKS - ah well :) Any idea of what model they were though?

I've given in trying to find out via google tonight

No not got a clue sorry.

But imo i think the black ones you have are 100X better.

Nope, don't like the black ones, they weigh more, had worse tyres on, aren't open, etc. I don't like closed type wheels, they're boring. Besides that, they're Mark Derbys wheels now :whistling:

Nice try Allan, but not quite :(

got to remember that they are 19's, not sure on the size fo your's but they will always be slightly different the smaller they are

Agreed, mine are only 18's but those have a machined edge, mine are curved and those go to a flat center, mine curve inwards to the mounting point in the center. I think they must be really old, because I can't find them anywhere :(

Nah, very close on the spoke pattern and a few things but they have machined flat surface on the spokes.

The fact we cant find them yet makes me like them more. We have been bouncing some interesting ideas about how were are going to sort them :)

Doing a search for lenso doesnt bring up that style, my guess is someone has added the lenso name center cap and they are indeed something else.

they look strikingly similar to the ones artztogo had on his motor. now if i could just remember the bloody name of them

The bolt holes are in the wrong place though to be the ones Artztogo had.

Not quite Alan but well done mate! Go to that same page, then ctrl F and search for "LENSO GM (HS)" on the page, those are the wheels! Cheers bud!!!! :D

Will do Allan, let them know the cheques in the post ;)

+1

They were the definition of 'un-cleanable'

I always knew what they were, pants sprung to mind.Soz but they are awful.keep the wasp ones and bin those, aluminium is high at the mo at SIMS metal.

LOL unfortunately with it being so cold, dark and windy, Rose took a pic of the most battered one (Thanks to a tyre garage that one is) because it was closest, but I don't think they look awful at all, I really like them and so does Rose.

She has some plans for the referb that will make them much nicer anyway, but I like them on the car as they are. Although I did say when I pulled the pic up on the computer, I don't like them as a wheel and wouldn't have picked them OFF the car in a catalogue, but ON the car I adore them tbh. They sit just right and are nicely stepped too, wider on the rear, where the works ones were all the same size.

I never have been keen on BBS style wheels like the Works ones we sold to Mark tonight and I just don't do spacers, so they had to go. Besides that, as Rose says, they're a NIGHTMARE to keep practically clean, without taking each wheel off individually and using a soft toothbrush or something.

They remind me a bit of the mille miglia action's I bought for my Supra I had for all of 3 months when I was 19 although that was many year ago and im not sure if mine were of the dish variety

Good grief, we really need new photos now all that rust has been sorted. You can see it all down the sill on that picture.
