Was supposed to be getting my zed back today, so was waiting feverishly at the window like a dog waiting for it's owner to come home. Anyway, I had a sudden feeling that it's not going to come today. 5 minutes later I had a phone call to tell me that all 3 of the bodyshops flatbeds had had some form of problem today, 2 had broken down and one had a flat tyre!

 

As the one with the flat was running two hours behind the manager told him not to drop mine off as he didn't want me getting it in the dark. Fully agreed with him on that.

 

But now have to wait until tomorrow :sweatdrop:

 

Not moaning as such but things like this are always happening to me, would be nice if occasionally things went to plan :wacko:

Have done but not since it's been machine polished. It's been done in 2k so I'm expecting perfection when it comes back :ninja:

Whats the chances of 3 knackered flatbeds. It sounds like bullshit to me. I reckon they loaded your car on and it fell off the side. :tt2:

Or the noise from the bodyshop overnight as theyve got to jig it, prep it and paint it over night... hehe

 

 

I'm sure it'll be fine mate, good of them to insist on dropping it back to you in daylight! Infact its quite impressive that they even deliver the cars back on a flatbed. I know the bodyshop I use its collect your own or if your VERY lucky they'll drop it of for you by being driven!

Well got her back today and she is stunning :tongue_smilie:. And the body shop have told me that when I put her on the road next summer I've to bring it back and the will machine polish it again for free :thumbup1:

 

Just got to put all the trim, lights front bumper etc.etc.. on now.

Well after a few attempts. I've finally managed to upload some pics. lol

Still got a lot to do yet but I'm really happy with the finish. Wanted to put 99 spec rear lights on but I've run out of money.lol. Once the front lights and bumper are back on she's going to look mint.
