I love my 300zx, and i have put over 1000 hours into it.

Alas, the alure of the origional z's is getting to me.

240z is out of my budget by a long shot.

Was wondering if i could direct fit 240z tail light section into the 260z?

Also if there was anything to be wary of.

Here is the one i'm looking at: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/cars/nissan/auction-422328737.htm

Any input greatly appreciated guys.

hey pal...

no real advice to give... I loved my 260z (2+2)... not the same power as the 300 (obviously) but just as many people comment on it...

best of luck...

The main problem all 260Zs suffer from is the fact that they arent 240Zs

this particular 260Z you have linked to is a 2+2. That is IMO considerably less desirable than a 2 seater 240 or 260Z

However if your budget wont run to a 240Z then it does look in good condition.

here is a pic of my current 240Z(for sale)

The profile from the side is much sharper than the 2+2.

all the above of course is my personal viewpoint as a fully committed 240Z man thru n thru.

yeah, I had two 240's before the 60....

loved them both... only prob were the complaints about seating... the 60 2+2 solved that.. :)

Hello mate, Proper clean looking, Looks like a nice motor actually although the colour really doesnt do it for me, Hell of a motor to say you got kickin about tho, Dont see many round now..... Go for it.... at the end of the day you'll find another 300z if you really wanted to change again....
