Jay I have the same thing,

When starting sometimes you hear two quick "tissstt" kinda sounds!(poor impression!)

Most of the time the two noises are almost at the same time, sometimes its one after the other.

I'm not to sure what it is(been going on for a long time) but the boost gauge has'nt registered any difference(but you know how reliable the stock gauges are!)

I also had this once when I still had the stock recircs and it turned out that one of the thick intercooler hoses was leaking air.

I didn't have any problems, just a big boostleak which was also causing the bov-sound

one of the thick intercooler hoses that connect to the throttle bodies was leaking air, because the clamp was on too tight.

I have this problem now with the new turbos - Basically i have traced it to Air leaking from a Blocked Recric valve - It doesn't leak to bad under boost but when the valves fire it leaks from the intake hose onthe Recirc coz i believe it is stuck in the closed position frown.gif

God is coming ...and he dont have stock turbos . . .

How can a hose leak because it's on too tight. Surely, the tighter the better

with this problem shouldnt i have boost loss,i still have full boost?

thought to buy new recirc valves from hks ,what do you think?

If you only get it When the Recircs fire (i.e Highish boost pressure + closed TB's) then you would not nomally notice it becuase that line is not always under full load.

Also how accurate is your boost guage ? chances are you are loosing a bit - I reckon mine is leaking about 0.2psi at the moment.
