Right,

After nearly 8 years i've decided to upgrade my beloved MTB frame for this :

151.jpg

As you can tell from the picture its an Ellsworth Momentum worth close to 2k.

Imported to the UK by an Ellsworth Employee / Racer it will be in my hands by

this time next week.

The reason for the upgrade is my old frame just cannot take the stress and

roughness of my current ride style with my being going on more vigorous rides.

For one i'm shiting myself thinking it will snap in half at certain parts of the track.

And talking of tracks,

after a complete rebuild; transfering my rockshox u-turn front suspension,

wheels, Juicy Carbon brakes and a few other mods over -

this will be where i'm heading :

Spooky Woods - Peebles in Glentress

Its a mad ride down, fast speeds and great jumps.

And if you can do that why not try it at night (in the snow) !!

Nice frame! That trail looks sweet, makes me wish I lived further north. The biggest hill we have around here is this:

:(

Now that looks like fun - might have to plan a trip there next year ................ I've done the Dalby Forest Red and Black routes and a few other trails in Snowdonia and The Lake District ................. nothing exciting like that tho' down here in Suffolk ............ :crying:

Is that a long winded way of saying that your putting on weight and the old frame is likely to buckle :)

Funny thats exactly what I thought but didn't want to be the pot calling the kettle black! lol
