Which OIL ??

Hi All! I've got a 91' TT with 110,000 miles!

Anyone recommend high mileage sports oils out there?? The service history does suggest the oil has been changed every 3000 miles!

Mike Feeney at MJP recommended to me to use Mobil 1....I drive a 1990 UK TT Auto...58k.

I change the oil every 3,000 miles.

I also have a UK manual TT with 117K. I use Mobil Motorsport and it absolutely loves it.

I used Mobil 1 when first got the car and I'd get the ocasional puff of blue smoke out the back but with the Motorsport, I have had no problems at all.

A lot of people on here use the Magnetec and there have been a lot of good reports about it but being as everything is running ok for me, I'm sticking with the Motorsport.

The best advise I can give you is just choose a good oil and see how the car runs with it. Usually on an engine with slightly higher mileage, the thicker oils are better.

Good luck.

I've had four 300zxs and used Mobil 1 in all of them with no problems.
