So it's been said that I'm bullish in my behaviour and inspire gang-like actions. I'd like to formally apologise to the membership of this forum if that's how I've come across, it is most certainly not intended.

As some of you know me personally, you will know I always try to be a nice person, helpful and I'll do just about anyone a favour if I can, even if it leaves me out of pocket or in an awkward position. That doesn't seem to be apparent when on the forum however.

I stand by some of the things I've said, and with no names mentioned, I'm far from the only one to blame for some of what's gone on, however I'd like to stand up and admit my part in it and take responsibility for my actions.

I'm truly sorry for any offence I may have caused and I'm going to try and make sure, when situations happen where I could again come across as bullish and inspiring gang like behaviour, I will step away from the keyboard and go for a drive or something.

All I want from this forum and any other forum or club I'm a member of, is to be able to give and get advice when it's needed, attend meets and events with the people I've given or received advice from and enjoy the car I have such a passion for, I shouldn't let personal grievances get in the way of that and I should not rise to the bait.

Yours

Very well said Alex. There seems to be alot of anger being vented on this forum for a while now. When i first joined this forum there was lots of cheek and laughter but over the last year ive noticed it change alot.Lee

Good for you Mate!!

We all make mistakes!!

I've lost it with mods on here before and know how you feel.

Big respect for apologising for your behavior. I was cringing reading the threads last night!!

Onwards and upwards.

Andy

Do not know full story of what went before but one thing I do know is the written word can be read in different ways, punctuation and inflextion is subject to the writers skills and the understanding of those by the reader.

Remember the writer can never know the skill set of the reader and if his own words have been well enough presented to match those and the subject in hand.

When we talk face to face there is the additional face and body movements that give us the full picture, also how something is said, soft, loud, indifferent, compassionate....the list goes on, with this in mind grievances are always subject to misunderstandings, top job for apologising and setting it all straight.

(By the way I was writting that calmly and with no ranting...)

To be fair I think its six of one and half a dozen of the other...Some times maybe people say things a little tongue in cheek but its taken too seriously or personally by others, every thing is written so any emotion/humour cant be understood or maybe mis-read. Some times when a thread starts to get a little heated the best thing to do is just dont reply.... least said soonest mended type of thing. At the risk of being flamed I also think that the forum authority (at times) are a bit quick at the "if you dont like it f**k off thing.

I whole heartedly agree that no one should make personal attacks or remarks about any one and the full weight of the forum should fall heavily should it happen.

This is generally a fun and helpful place to be...live and let live...:) some times I think that we all can look for a reason to have a pop when there's no need.

Never ever replied to any of your posts ?

Been a long standing member of this forum.

Dont always agree with several points of view/discussion/attitude with a few members, but hey ho, we are all entitled to our 2p`s worth ??

Live and learn, eh ? :sailor:

Engage brain, before the mouth ?

Big up on publicly apoligising tho ! Bawz and aw that !

Happy Halloween Alex.

Alan.............

Dammit, no point in my reply, the swear filter took the funny picture out!

Hi Alex,

I seem to have missed this thread the first time around, as I didn't get online last weekend.....

Very well said I reckon - and some wise words from Andy too!

Onwards and upwards indeed....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I've been out of the forum loop for a while with loads going on so i don't even know what it's all about lol

That said, it shows great character to personally apologise, weather you are right OR wrong, in any instance so my hat is off to you :)

Copy pasted to the missus in reply to her asking why we fight so much when we talk on facebook and not in person... :sweatdrop:

very true words Alex ...it is a good person who knows when he is wrong and a better one who can freely and openly admit it. ......i mean wrong in the sense of the way you sometimes come accross on the forums, and not on content of posts or threads,

i am personaly glad that this forum is so helpful and supportive and also very happy that wwwzxclub.net have moved on to become what could hopefuly be a great sister site with no anamosity or division and mutual meets and gatherings , in fact another platform to exhibit and raise awareness for these stunning looking exotic and charasmatic machines
