As above. I think i have the wrong one fitted. What amp hours do i need and how much would i expect to pay ?

Also whats the best way to keep it charged as i have sorned it untill spring but need to be able to move it in and out of the garage at weekends.

Not sure on the amp hour. I would buy yourself a decent trickle charger to keep the battery healthy throughout the winter.

As for a battery charger, I would recommend a CTEK MULTI XS 3600.

Can be left on for long periods of time, trickle charges, conditions etc' etc'.

I too take mine of the road for winter and this is the charger I have been using with great results for ages. (Retails at around £45.00)

Worth every penny if you ask me.

You shouldn't need a charger if you are starting it every weekend.

I have one of these and still as lively now as when it was fitted, I also leave items on, mainly lights and it never drains, recommended

Yeh, spin it 180 :cool3:

Cant do that as the cables are not long enough to reach the "other" side of the terminals when the battery is the wrong way around. You want an "068" battery... I found that motor factors list the zed as needing an 071, but this is wrong.

Is 068 the same for the Fairlady ?

I like the look of the Banner one but at £78 it's a little pricey.

Goodness me, I meant spin the battery in the pic 180 and it's perfect

It is also a 068...I know this cos it says in the item title :bored:

The one for £78 looks to be either banner code 57024 or 57029

My banner one is 56205 code and is actually 62amps so not just as much gusto and a touch smaller as the one in the listing with that being 70amps, so mine is actually NOT a 068 but fits fine with OEM brackets and as plenty of power.

Check out dimensions of the starting bull code 56205 here

I could well have this one the same seller lists, FYI mine is an import

Only a bit extra for the 70ah one so I wouldn't scrimp or penny pinch on a battery if I was you

I swear by the CTEK maintenance charger mentioned above - great piece of kit which I always attach if I'm leaving the Z for longer than 6 days without driving. I also have the Banner battery as well (well, 2 actually cos you never know!)
