Where is the horn on a zed???

Featured Replies

Cheers kev....as for the rest of you.....shame on you....shame on you all! ;)

Except the horns arn't in the engine bay lol.

They are behind the front bumper on the end of the chassis legs.

if it isnt the fuse they usually fill up with water :) give them a dry out and clean up the connections, the mount is the earth, so clean that too. :)

Twin horn setup, so its both sides, not just on the right.

The usual culprit is the wiring to them, which are very suseptical to the elements. Either the short earths that go straight from horn to the mounting points, or the power feeds that run up to the Large black fusebox.

twin? ive only got 1. i know where it is cos i disconnected it trying to shut off my alarm when i wouldnt shut up

Yup - I only had one as well......

......bottom right hand side; just in front of the radiator. The crazy Nissan Micra item has now been removed and replaced with a nice Ring air horn!

Richard:wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
