Putting the Z on E-bay was always a last option because of all the knobs on there!

So far been offered,2 BMW's (one of my most hated cars!) £1k and £1.5k, what are these people taking?:hammer:

I can see a conversion looming...................:whistling:

Fancy a swap for a BMW?

Wait till you get the phone calls reading the entire listing to you then offering you half the asking price!!

I hate selling cars on ebay as it opens your door and phoneline to every idiot on the planet!

Best one i had was a guy buying a £500 banger with loads of tax and test wanting the car cheaper to cover his costs for travelling to get to collect the car and fuel to get it home.

I asked him if he was from australia would i be expected to pay for the flight.

Having said that I stood my ground and he payed the full asking price.

I do think ebay adds need a tag saying no dickheads, no texts, i also tell people i will not haggle on the phone as it doesnt matter if they offer 50p or a million quid on the phone, if you cant see their money its all irrelivant.

ebays a nitemare for selling cars, when selling an old escort of mine, the guy promised me the asking price, turned up and then tried to knock me down. i had none of it. he then harrased me by phone all afternoon and evening, saying he was sorry and would give me the asking price after all. i refused to sell to him even at double the price in the end.

having said that, ive bought my last 4 cars of ebay, including 2 zeds, i bid, i win, i turn up with the cash and drive away with no hassle. i must be one of the few people who actually do that

I bought my Zed of eBay. Clicked "buy it now" so honoured it. Paintwork wasn't as described but the option was there to view beforehand so my choice.

All sorted now with a full re spray

15 watchers and not a bid.

Buddy, that V8 of mine is still sitting there in the garden doing nothing - it's yours if you want it!

You're the only person i'd be willing to sell the whole thing to in one go! :)

IF I had the ££££'s mate then maybe!-House is bleeding me dry!:hammer:

When I put my Calibra DTM on fleabay the other month I had 35 watchers and not one bid!

I bought my zed on ebay, spoke to the seller on the phone about it, agreed to buy it and payed my money, job done.Cant stand timewasters that tat about saying they want it then they dont or offer peanuts!.

When i sold my purple twin turbo i listed all the faults and how much it would be to solve them in bold. Guy bids in the last 10 seconds and then says he's coming over with a deposit. Comes over, never hear off him again until i've chased him down and he says he read through my experiences with the car and didn't want it any more.

Seeing as i'd spent 2k putting all the faults right i was a bit pissed off to the say the least so launched a case against him and got my listing money refunded but took so long i was 5 weeks after the auction.

Popped it in auto trader for 1 night, got a call and the guy took it away the next day and paid extra for the wheels and even left me the original set.

Try autotrader buddy, much better to sell through there

Ive had mine up for sale for close to 2 months now, and refuse to put it on ebay. so im keeping it now and going to finally get the remap from zedworld!...when its not sorned anymore anyway..leaving the pistonheads ad on until it runs out though :tt2:

problem with ebay is it has a stigma these days that anyone who sells there is desprado for money and willing to take any offer thrown there way:thumbdown:..the last machine i sold there the buyer told me he only bid because the adverts were on between a movie:online2long: he coughed up but it tells the whole story about the place.
