she feels a bit skittish So called a place in chesham today

supposidly one of the best places around, They have quoted me £165 for a 2hour geometry set up and £20 wheel balancing. How does this sound?? never had this done before to such an extent.

Just thought id do an update on this, DS Automotives in Aylesbury do full 4 point set up for £89.99 inc vat

 

I had my red ZX done there and I reckon they did a pretty good job to be honest.... Took about an hour IIRC

 

.....but I'd have to ask whether they will be doing the same check/adjust works that Black Boots would for £165. possibilities are, DS Autos will not be as comprehensive.....

 

.....but personally I was pleased with their work and would use them again!

there's a difference between a quick alignment down yer local Kwik Fit and a full custom tuning mate ;) I could have got it done cheaper if I searched around but they were local (on the way back from Zedworld actually) and for me it was a one-off thing so I wanted a good job doing.

mine was custom Dave all the cambers and handleing done to how i wanted :wink:

That's a 2 hour full adjustment I checked, well see how it goes, I've gotta try and set it up as best I can for the meet tomorrow as they can't get me in till Tuesday
