yellow stuff brake pads

after haveing replaced my brake pads a couple of months ago i bedded them all in and from cold they work fine but when you are giveing it some they seem to go a bit vhage they dont really feal as if they are stopping you as much as you would like i think i had ferrodo pads on before and they were great but when i was buying these i was on the understanding that the yellowstuff pads would work even better does any body have any ideas as to why they seem to be doing these

got these on my car and cant wait to get rid of them, the brake fade is awful

what????

have you both got genuine EBC yellow stuff pads?

i've got them on my zed they are ok from cold, excellent when warm and i've not felt any fade unless i've really been riding them and even then its not been too bad....

sounds more like red stuff/ green stuff pads to fade like that, originally ran them on an s13 (red stuff) and they did they faded quickly and badly.

these are deffinatley genuine ebc pads but the fade happens so quickly i had put some green stuff pads on anither car and they were fantastic but these are terrible

I have green stuff up front and yellow stuff in the rears, my car never seems to suffer from brake fade, but cold they are not quite as good as I'd hoped.

I don't drive like a girl, I simply drive like my license is important to me :D i.e. I never break the law, unless I'm absolutely positive no one is, or could be looking :D

I hate ebc gear but i had to get some pads on my track lude (awesome brake set up brembo 4 0ots with 320mm x 32mm discs) took it to nur and no fade what so ever! Look at your discs, your fluid as has been said before and also get braided brake lines if you have not already, they help to keep the brake fluid temps down!

changing the fluid is one of the things i have to do but it just seems strange that the brakes were fine before it was just the pad was running out otherwise i wouldnt of changed them i think i had ferrodo pads before i have actully emailed ebc to see what they say so will keep everyone informed as to the out come
