I am currently upto getting the timimg belt on and need some advice.

On the lower crank there is a dot, but where on the engine should this line up to?. Is it the little cut out mark on the oil pump thats at the bottom right hand side?.

Thankyou :-). 2hrs i wa pondering and it turned out to be the mark i thought,lol.

5mins later and the timing belt is all good and fitted :-).

Just need to remember where all the brackets for p/s pump and alternator go now.

It was nearly 4yrs ago when i took it all apart :-(.

Rather you than me , its hard enough remembering what bolts i slackened just toget the belts off a fortnight ago:oops:
